So I made this pimp new logo using The Gimp the other day, but it’s on my Linux partition, and since I’m Mr. Winmodem and can’t do the Internet thing in Linux while I’m away from the sweet, luscious experience that is the Northwestern resnet, I’m not in Linux ahora. So you’ve gotta wait for my lazy butt to remember to cp logo.gif /dos at some point before you can see it.

Someday, in the maybe distant future, I’m gonna go and shell out my 35 bucks for friedcheese.org. But until then, you’re stuck with a psuedo-friedcheese.org here at nwu.edu. So here’s my current idea for the look. Similar colors to how my page has always looked, but a little different. Logo by moi with Paint Shop Pro. Eventually, this site’ll be run by mysql and php or perl (which should I do? php is like the new hot thing, but perl is so l33t - i dunno). But for now, it’s just me slaving over old fashioned html.

I have a blister on my blister! It all started when a little Celtic white boy decided he was going to get rid of the sock tan (a.k.a. space devoid of freckles in the ankle area), which matched so well with his watch and farmer tans, by running sans socks. Actually, not entirely sans socks, but sans enough sock that it caused two big ugly blisters to form, one over each Achilles tendon. Good ol’ lefty healed right away, but the on right foot never went away, even causing this boy to stop running for over a week to let it heal. Finally, the time came, when the blister had become a mere scab. Alas, another blister formed underneath the scab. This time, he was wearing a complete sock. What could have caused this second blister? Was it the back and forth motion caused by running with a Band-Aid attempting to protect the scab? Perhaps it was just Fate playing a cruel trick on our antagonist. Whatever the case may be, I apologize for making you read about my foot. I am sorry.

I got quite a chuckle out of this item I received in my inbox today. Makes you think about how we tend to pick and choose what best fits our perceptions.

Happy Canada Day! Also, it’s interesting to note that we’re now halfway through with the year 2000. And here it is, reason number insert large number here to despise Microsoft. The nerve of calling “It’s a Small, Small World” classical music! What the hell were they thinking??? Gah.

In other news, I archived all the old stuff. Just gonna take it one month at a time. Get the old stuff at the ARCHIVE page. Pretty fancy, isn't it? :) Eh, maybe I'll get around to making an index.html for it someday.

Yo yo. Filled out one of those chain e-mail survey doohickeys. I hate chain letters myself, but filling out those little e-mails is just so obnoxiously fun for some reason, so I did it and put it here. Enjoy learning about me or something.

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve updated, hasn’t it? Actually, I’ve updated much more recently, but I only bothered to post those updates on my profzoom.dhs.org address. Unfortunately, I reinstalled everything a while ago and lost all that stuff I’d done. Oh well. I’ll just have to do more stuff. Here’s the nifty thing ‘o the day.

By the way, I'm home now. Yea, two-ply toilet paper!
